keeping aotearoa growing
Planting native trees is one of the most powerful actions we can take to combat climate change, protect our beautiful landscapes, waterways and forests for future generations.
Trees That Count is a conservation charity bringing together business, community and everyday Kiwis, with the vision of helping plant 200 million native trees across the country. They do an amazing job helping with the reforestation of New Zealand – and we are proud to be able to contribute as well, thanks to our clients.
For every HapPea Event, we gift one native tree through Kiwi organisation, Trees that Count. This means for any event booked with us a tree is planted in memory of that special day. So, when you work with us, you’re also helping grow a little good. You even get a certificate and an update as to where your tree has been planted. Awesome eh?
In addition to funding trees, we independently plant our senior plants straight back into the ground once they are ready for retirement. Our plantings are shared on Social media, so make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
If you would like to fund or gift a native tree (or trees), head over to the Trees That Count website.
